Trenton Miller, graduate student, and Dr. Hai Xu record the time to complete the pro agility test for one of the LaTech Softball players in Scotty Robertson Memorial Gym. Like the baseball players, we will compare this agility test result to running home to first base whether swinging or bunting. However, we will also compare this test time to running from first base to second base time. Softball players don't get to lead off like baseball players.#softball #agility #baserunning #sportscience #sportsperformance

Baseball. I watched this all night last night at Tropicana Field. All players before each pitch - sequentially - prepare for their chance to make a defensive play. All in unison, all counting on one another to make their play. It is poetry in motion. Is it any different in sales? Think about all the steps you take (your defensive position) to prepare for that first selling moment and beyond. Your plan - approach - dialogue - objection handling - relationship planning - closing. It may seem like a small step, but it is THAT step that gets you closer to your goals. #effectiveselling #baseball #salestraining
