In 2022 in the last year of his carpentry apprenticeship, Jonty White suffered an onsite spinal injury that would eventually render him unable to return to his apprenticeship.
To stay positive, he began to identify areas in the construction industry that needed improving, including demand for simple ways to find tradies in Sydney. During his investigations, he ultimately identified a larger underlying issue across Australia.
Unacceptable wait times
After the pandemic, Australia’s construction industry struggled with supply chain issues,labourshortages due to worker quarantines, waiting times for visas, and the need for additional precautionary measures.
